No doubt we are not going to be popular with opposition businesses but we will be with you, if only for the benefits that competition brings.

Our sister company, Bus & R.V. Modification builds luxury motor homes and coaches.  We draw on the experience that we have achieved with stringent ADR59 roll over testing on coaches and buses to put to use in making our hearses the strongest available.

Our first vehicle which we built for the well known and respected “GOW” family in Brisbane achieved a plus 15% improvement over standard torsional testing on a BA Ford Falcon Hearse.

Managing Director, Daryl Wells, is well known for the quality classic cars he builds, so it wasn’t an effort for him to assemble a “super group” of old-time coach builders, fabricators and mechanics to take on the exciting and satisfying challenge of classic car restoration.

Classic Ridz managed to acquire the services of Tony Sheridan to head our operations.  Tony is a perfectionist with a fine eye for detail and is particularly well known in South East Queensland for engine assembly and his restoration projects.

Businesses like this are never about one person and this is especially the case at Classic Ridz.  Tony has two key supporting players; Glen Smith who started his apprenticeship under Daryl Wells 16 years ago, and has forged a reputation as a very skilled coach builder. Glen’s partner in leading the team is Steve Adams who ensures things are running smoothly as the panel shop foreman. Steve commenced and completed his panel beating apprenticeship at Sowerby’s Crash Repairs in Toowoomba.

At present our team consists of twelve staff, making it possible for us to manage a number of projects at any one time.

We are a privately owned family business operating on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, with no affiliations.

We can help you realise, visualise and materialise your dream.
